Tilt Tray Tech Sheet

Tilt Tray Sorters from SDI fast, versatile, quiet, and simple to use when sorting a variety of products including: poly bags, kraft envelopes, DVDs, CDs, small and large corrugated boxes. Tilt Tray Sorters are used for order assembly, outbound shipping, and return goods. The Tilt Tray hardware utilizes field-proven devices designed to operate quickly and efficiently throughout any type of sorting process.

Whether you use your controls and induction unit(s) or SDI’s supplied controls and induction units with in-motion scales, tilt tray sorters are some of the longest-lasting, most efficient and flexible means of sortation in the distribution industry.

Carriages & Trays: Carriages can tip to the right or left direction. The lubrication free carriages are locked in the upright and tipped position.

Tilting Devices: All tilting devices are equipped with electric solenoids and guides to control the tipping.

Tilt Tray Drive: Simple, efficient, easy to maintain tilt tray worm drives.

Chain: The aluminum chain has universal joints so the chain can bend in both horizontal and vertical planes. The chain does not require lubrication.
