Audit Plan

SDI’s Audit Plan will evaluate the general condition of your system, distinguish critical issues, find maintenance items needing to be addressed and, identify any spare parts necessary to bring that equipment up to standard. The main objective of this Audit is to bring a high level of functionality and increase productivity, while decreasing downtime.

Full Service Maintenance Personnel

SDI Professionals will come to your facility and provide hands-on training on safety issues, equipment, building a maintenance schedule, inventory analysis/acquisition and, will provide electronic or written training manuals and vendor maintenance manuals among other things.

Preventive Maintenance Plan

The primary goal of the Preventive Maintenance Plan is to avoid or lessen the consequences of equipment failure by preventing them before they occur. It is designed to preserve and restore equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail. Preventive maintenance activities include partial or complete overhauls at specified periods, oil changes, lubrication and so on. In addition, workers can record equipment deterioration so they know to replace or repair worn parts before they cause system failure. Depending on the system requirements, this could happen monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. We highly recommend that our CMMS program is utilized in conjunction with this program.

Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

CMMS implementations have become increasingly popular with facilities throughout the public and private sector as they look to control costs, standardize routines, and institute best maintenance practices. CMMS programs can be utilized to manage the maintenance staff preventive maintenance services, track work orders, provide equipment repair history and, manage the spare parts inventory.

SDI has partnered with eMaint to provide a CMMS program customized specifically for maintaining Material Handling Systems. SDI/eMaint CMMS systems will manage the installation, setup and maintenance of the CMMS program at your facility. We will also provide training and support for your staff in the initial set up and configuration of the CMMS program.

Software Plan

SDI professionals are available 24 x 7 x 365. Requests can be initiated via our self-service portal interface, via e-mail or by calling us at a direct number with an SDI professional always answering your call. SDI’s Customer Service Portal, includes a customer-centric, web-based support tool that manages and tracks all technical support issues. Customers can submit Support Requests, track the status of their requests, and generate reports. With remote access to our clients’ software and hardware configurations, SDI’s unique Suite provides us with the ability to see what is happening in real time, troubleshoot remotely, identify, and respond to issues immediately.
